TALWOOD Talwood is a very easy to miss town encounted when travelling the St George to Goondiwindi highway. Talwood is now a by-pass town and is in economic decline. There is no historic recording on the web that responds to Talwood; so Talwood is also an unknown town. The Talwood Hotel is a tavern type pub. The Anglican Church is a 1950’s building that has incorporated the War Memorial. Talwood is small but if the timing is right for a coffee or refreshment then Talwood may be just the spot for that break.
